The Down Syndrome Organization of Southern Nevada (DSOSN) is a community of families who care for individuals with Down syndrome. DSOSN offers support, direction, services, and resources to hundreds of Southern Nevada families caring for individuals with Down syndrome.

Programs and services provided include speech, music, and developmental therapies, as well as life skills development and educational seminars. Other resources available include Hispanic outreach, Medical Outreach, the Lending Resource Library, the New Parent Program, the Learning Program, member socials, and the Teen and Young Adult Club (The Cool 21’s). DSOSN serves those in the greater Las Vegas, Nevada area, including the cities of Henderson, North Las Vegas, Boulder City, and other areas of Clark County, as well as Pahrump.

DSOSN publishes a monthly email newsletter highlighting common issues surrounding Down syndrome, featuring news and announcements about events in Southern Nevada that impact the lives of individuals with Down syndrome and their families.

Nevada 2-1-1 is proud to announce its participation in 2-1-1 Counts!

Each year, 16 million people in the United States dial 2-1-1 for help with basic needs like food and shelter or emergency services. 2-1-1 Counts is the first tool to provide real-time, searchable, and visual presentations of data from 2-1-1 call centers across the nation in a simple to use format.  Using 2-1-1 Counts, you’ll find a snapshot of community-specific needs displayed by ZIP code, region, or call center as recently as yesterday, enabling you to easily check trends, make comparisons, and share information. 2-1-1 Counts works with your local 2-1-1 to share this information with community leaders and service agencies.

Visit the Nevada 2-1-1 Counts page at nv.211counts.org.
