Spotlight on: The Cupcake Girls

The Cupcake Girls provides holistic resources, case management, and after care to those involved in the sex industry, as well as those affected by domestic sex trafficking. This includes confidential, nonjudgmental support, empowering clients through respect, resources, and relationships.

The Cupcake Girls have been a 501(c)(3) since 2011 with locations in Las Vegas, NV and Portland, OR.  They provide client care through three main programs: Outreach, Referrals and Intensive Case Management.

Outreach Program:
Last year, The Cupcake Girls delivered over 9,000 cupcakes to strip clubs and legal brothels, in order to share a cupcake, one human to another, creating an opportunity to offer resources and develop a relationship with clients and potential clients.

Referral Program:
When needed, the organization provides referrals to vetted, safe, and inclusive partners and resources who have agreed to see clients either pro-bono or at a reduced cost. These partners include doctors, tax professionals, therapists, and parent and family specialists.

Intensive Case Management Program:
The Cupcake Girls serves clients with more abundant needs through their Intensive Case Management program. In this program, clients have the opportunity to meet weekly with an Advocate, collaborating to set and achieve personalized goals. The Intensive Case Management program assists clients dealing with a number of issues, including:
  • Domestic Violence
  • Sex Trafficking
  • Substance Abuse
  • Career Development
  • Homelessness
